Residency Manual and Didactic Schedule


The Bethesda Hospital East Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program program is proud to be a participant in the Central Application Service for Podiatric Residencies (CASPR). In addition to various clinical experience and application, Residents will learn the following types of foot and ankle surgeries:

Ankle Trauma
Arthroscopic Surgery
Charcot Reconstruction
Internal and External Fixation
Limb Salvage


Peripheral Nerve Surgery
Reconstructive Adult and Pediatric Surgery
Soft Tissue Reconstruction (Plastics)
